I beg to differ :) Naturally one still has to keep in mind that this is an Atari, not OSX, Linux, BSD or whatevs - but it doesn't have to be any of that in order to be very very useful. It's multitasking TOS with unixy stuff, and that's a really useful thing.

The kernel and GUI needs work, but that work probably needs to be completely rebooted. I've made some patches, some of which are probably useful - but the focus nowadays is hacking the gradient mechanism in XaAES and coming up with new clever ways to completely break existing APIs. Compared to the days of Frank and Ozk, it's a circle jerk.

sorry to ask but who now work on MiNT kernel and Xaaes?
I only know that Olivier Landemarre work on MyAES...
