NetUSBee USB driver

Postby Galvez » Sat Mar 10, 2012 8:39 am

I'm thinking in looking into the NetUSBee network driver to see if I get some idea of what could be failing in the USB driver.

Which network driver is working reliable for the NetUSBee? Are sources available?

Thanks

The normal Ethernec drivers for Sting and Mint work 100% with the network part of the Netusbee.

The link is for the ethernet driver.
Galvez made an usb driver, but it isn't finished yet, there is an unsolved problem that causes the transfers to crash.

There was also a USB mouse driver but the links to that appear to be dead now

This link might be helpful for a USB driver for the NETUS-Bee hardware:
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic ... tTekztDFfU

[PATCH 17/17] [m68k] Atari: NetUSBee tweaks for ISP1160 USB HCD driver (updated patch)

[PATCH 17/17] [m68k] Atari: NetUSBee tweaks for ISP1160 USB HCD driver
Some tweaks necessary to make the NetUSBee driver work with
both USB ports - something in the NetUSBee design makes the
second port shut down due to overcurrent otherwise. As all
NetUSBee stuff, this is provided by David.

This patch replaces the old patch of the same name - the previous version
would disable overcurrent protection on the EtherNAT!

Hope that helps

I also found the mouse driver here (a .zip file that can be downloaded)
http://www.lotharek.pl/product.php?pid=73
I've included the file itself from that location as a posted attachment to this forum message
