Who cares. Can you guys stop arguing and make the damn boards. I don't care who makes them and I am pretty sure other people who would buy them also don't care who makes them. I was reading about these boards last year, there was at least 4 different people who were planning on making them and yet year later still nothing but arguing.
In the mean time when in world of Atari nothing is happening I bought A2000 with bunch of parts for it (new and old), A600 with Vampire II (which is a damn awesome piece of hardware).
Oh A2000 Vampire II is just about to be released, which I will also purchase.
And in the mean time I did get 0 parts for any of my Ataris, because none are available. And all my Atari stuff sits on the shelf collecting dust.
So maybe instead of arguing it would be more beneficial to finally make some boards.
19 pages of talking and in result... nothing
Developing these items is not easy...and not cheap. Most people do it as a hobby, using their available little free time (work, family) to work on it. It is true that in Amiga is more organized...but they are also lot more people working on it.
Being so few is why it is important in Atari to coordinate efforts but this is up to each of them to decide. I have been here for more than 4 years now...and I think the development activity has increased a lot in these past years with new and amazing new items and programming. As examples: Jookie's CosmosEx, Alanh's adapters, Exxos boosters and adapters, Arne's test cartridges,... Zamuel's new Pacmania version, new HDD Drivers from Ppera...
I have seen also new coordinated projects on development: Exxos and AtariZoll ACSI storage device, Rpineau, Exxos,...68020 booster,...so maybe we are on the right way...because, and maybe I am wrong, few years ago it seems to me there were only individual projects
Trying to learn...
