Well, I suppose this is a matter of taste. MiNT is a Unix derivate and such comes with a truckload full of legacies. One of those being the - in my opinion - smart approach to have a single command line tool for a single purpose. No Swiss Army knives around. Therefore one usually ends up with a much bigger installation footprint than anticipated. I do not know if MagiC is different. All this comes from somebody who is making a living using Linux and programming software for it. So extra caution is advised because I will always recommend to choose the most Unix way possible.

Hi,
anyone has a clue about Atari DEKA 2 PC Keyboard Interface, how efficient it is and is it worth its money?
this could sort out my problem with a keyboard and mouse but I can't find any info about this thing and do not want to buy one as long I do not know if there is a point in it. thnx

DEKA is pretty old.
IIRC, it has XT keyboard & mouse sockets, not the PS2 type of today's PC.
Ought to be better to get the Eiffel.
