network solution ?

Postby calimero » Mon Aug 03, 2009 7:43 am

Hi,
I still do not have any LAN solution for my Falcon :( - I was to late for EtherNAT; and NetUSbee is no longer in production.

My question is what are my options now?

I search ebay for EtherNAT and NetUSbee but no luck for quite sometime :(

Does somebody have suggestion for my problem? Or maybe: what should I search exactly in ebay not to miss any network solution for Atari Falcon; is there anything beside EtherNAT and NetUSbee?

Thanx!

I just posted in the for sale/wanted area the topic about Networking Atari.
I recommend the DaynaPort as I am using it on my Falc but the one on sale is not the same model as mine.
You can see a short write up on it at my site.
BTW, I do not know the seller & no comission etc, just passing the info in case someone needs it.

If all you want to do is transfer files from the PC to the Falcon then surely an IDE->CF adapter is the cheapest, easiest and fastest way?

Would be floppy if it's less than 1.4MB

Would be a removable Scsi disk like a SyQuest for more data. ;-)

I have the 44MB Syquest, in my cupboard somewhere. In fact that was my 1st HDD for the ST520
Not sure if any of my 4 removable disk are working, must have been in storage for the past 15 years or so.
Never had SCSI on my Wintel till recently, so never tried it.
