NVDI, EasyMINT & ET4000 video cards

Postby dexterslab » Wed Jun 03, 2009 9:41 am

i'm trying to get my CD2 video card working with nvdi and mint and i'm having a bit of a problem doing it.

It's a fresh/clean install of easymint, to which i then installed nvdi5 and used my nvdivga.inf file from my other setup.

can someone tell me which boot order slct_dev.prg, mint030.prg and nvdi.prg should be in and if there's any other config changes i need to make?

detracting from what this guy is saying

nvdi.prg should run before slct_dev.prg

and load mint first i assume...!

pay attention to these lines

Your autofolder should have the following programs in the following order:
INIT.TOS, REDIRECT.PRG, NVDI.PRG, SLCT_DEV.PRG.
Redirect simply changes output to your SVGA monitor. NVDI starts the drivers
and Slct_dev enables you to switch to another resolution at the end of boot
