Loteks' Requests section

Fading Twilight is a huge archive of all the music (in every possible format) that has ever been released for the Atari.

I've got the original game for Sidewinder and the tunes for the game are stored in separate files if I remember.

Will check out the disk images when I get home.

If it is one big file, then your only option would be to splice the file into the separate chunks in Soundlab and then re-assemble the tune in Protracker.

Almost all the Michael Wingdroff tunes (Turbo Cup era) will need to be done like this to recreate the tunes.... but it also means you can do remixes of them ;-)
Having sold 99.9% of my 1300+ collection of originals, I'm taking a bit of a back seat on the forum. I'll still do the front-of-house admin tasks as and when they're required but, for now, I'm enjoying my Xbox 360 time too much :)

I know about the splitting-problem :) but also the small samples from chariots of wrath sounded crappy... I guess its the sample frequency that did not match the protracker rules...

Use Soundlab to up the frequency of the original samples?

I've uploaded the samples and Soundlab 1.04 to the usual place for you to grab them.

Taking into account the ones that aldn and myself have done.

yep digi, similar format to Hippel's other early digi zaks... Warp, Turrican's 1 & 2 and Stormlord... but a slightly exotic version of normal TFMX digi zaks.

ahem, I actually helped code this atrocity. All the digi stuff are samples done with Replay 4. We even did the Amiga conversion of the game but didn't get paid a penny  , hence that nasty Showaddywaddy decided to CRACK! the ST version..... a cracker cracking a game he helped develop... surely a first?!! :P

Grazey: Im sure you are not the first... I think TEX spreaded a version of LAST NINJA even before it was released... and Marc Rosocha and Jochen Hippel were involved in the ST conversion ;)

Sorry :/ Spent a few minutes going through our disks-collected-so-far share but didn't find that one.

(We still have stuff on currently non-working hard drives to extract ... whenever the owner of them comes around to it)

Err, so, ripping it might be easier and faster indeed.

Berlin 1948 audiotape is on this YouTube Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8q2ljE9252k

I downloaded it to an MP3 file (via a YouTube to MP3 online convertor) and uploaded it to my BT cloud: https://www.btcloud.bt.com/?shareObject ... bbeb7de592

Ditto for Xenophobe audio cassette: https://www.btcloud.bt.com/?shareObject ... 612e6684e7
Having sold 99.9% of my 1300+ collection of originals, I'm taking a bit of a back seat on the forum. I'll still do the front-of-house admin tasks as and when they're required but, for now, I'm enjoying my Xbox 360 time too much :)

Alien Fires sample rip (file called THEME on Disk A). Couldn't find anything similar on Disk B and Disk C was unreadable (was downloaded from Atarimania).

Loaded THEME into SoundLab and worked out it is around 10Khz range. Doesn't seem to loop well, but I've forgotten many of the old tricks from the old days :)
