ST Game Music

Postby Antarro » Thu Oct 23, 2003 9:25 am

Hi folks. I've recently been trying to obtain music from some ST games through websites etc but haven't managed to get all of the tracks I was looking for. So, as I'm running STEEM on my PC I was wondering about the possibility of using an application to take the music directly from a game running on this i.e. is there an application I can run which will take music directly from emulated games on STEEM?

If you're talking about *recording* Steem's sound output, Steem itself offers this functionality --just check the Sound section in Options. Alternatively you could use Total Recorder (http://www.highcriteria.com/) or some of the latest Soundblaster's drivers that provide "what-u-hear" recording options.

If you'r etalking about *extracting* ym or mod files from the packed games, I do believe there are such utilities -although I can think of none right now; I'm sure someone else can be more enlightening...
