May GEM accessories spawn/launch other processes?

May GEM accessories spawn/launch other processes using the default GEMDOS calling scheme with Pexec()?

I'm curious as I will need to write a little helper for AHCC...

i dunno , but i tried once to exec a program from gfa while i had the tron on , it didn't work
tron was only working until the program i called to exec executed.

I have a piece of software called Revolver ..... i think?

It is able to load in other programs / reload acc's on the fly. Whether this conforms to your specific command I know not.

I will attempt to load the manual/disk information online if unavailable elsewhere.

Well, its also possible to load and relocate a binary yourself. That's another option. I'm not sure how xcontrol does what it does, but each CPX module is actually a binary with a header added to it.

I think shel_write() can be used to start apps, but I'm not sure if they start in parallel or after the app that calls it has terminated.

Never mind - the particular problem vanished as it now doesn't require me to write a custom launcher.
Otoh this means to use the .TTP Make from AHCC from the Desktop instead of its shell.

Wasn't there a CLI which runs as an accessory? This would of course be useless if it couldn't spawn other programs. Worth checking out if it exists and can run GEM programs too...
