Starting point to Atari 1040 ST

Postby kilgore » Sun Nov 09, 2008 10:46 pm

Hi everyone. I'm just a newbie in the Atari World. I would like to develop some applications in C or GFA Basic and also know the basis of the Atari 1040 ST capabilities, operation and so on. Which starting points - documents, links, books, etc...- could you recommend me? Thank you

Best regards

I'd recommend The Atari Compendium which is available for download at :-

http://dev-docs.atariforge.org/files/The_Atari_Compendium.pdf

Errata and source code at :-

http://dev-docs.atariforge.org/files/ac_sd.zip

It should always be on your desk .

or
use this forum and apply the"search engine" at top of page ,

it located loads of code i remmeber when i first started....

i know there are dozens of usefull pointers to pick up on too , i am learning along the way
