Can Atari backup to DAT DDS-3 Tapes? HP SureStore.

Postby AtariSociety » Sun Apr 10, 2016 4:49 pm

Can a DDS-3 Tape Backup System be made to work with an Atari?

I own an HP SureStore DAT24 that can store 24GB on small DAT tapes.

Had used it on an old NeXTcube in the day.

It is SCSI based and wondering if on a Falcon or TT030, or with correct ACSI to SCSI adapter, and software, work on an Atari?

Any such software that can allow this?

TJ

Sure. I have a DAT drive at my TT. Works fine with GEMAR (TOS/MiNT) and out of the box with ASV Unix.
