And it is in transit right now!

Are you going to do it by attaching it as if the STe had an internal ACSI connector (attaching to resistors etc following the Mega STe schematics) or by attaching to the actual pins of the ACSI connector?

I was about to before I realised I have the faulty DMA chip in my STe ..

Dear All,

I need some support from You.

I have orginal USD (ultrasatan device from Jon B ) and also one piece of USD 1.1 redesigned by me.

What can i say - after my changes their behavious is the same.

meanwhile, i have ordere hddriver - newst version. and here comes small problem - both on orginal and mine.

when one sd card is inserted, i got info error reading partition data
When two card are inserted - i got the FULLY FUNCIONTAL USD ( both Jookie`s and mine ) Their beahviour is the same.

When using free ICD - i have no problems with both devices.

So, my concern is :

- did i missed sth in setting up hddriver ?
- i have french STE with changed rom to dual rom ( 1.62 UK and 2.06 UK - i think or maybe USA...)

can anyone advice about above situation ? i must obtain another atari to make tests. this problem holds me for a while...

No, I am going tell you if it will physically fit inside the case (maybe by removing some shields).

It's pretty obvious that some motherboard soldering will be required (otherwise you'll have to cut a slot in the case to get access to the external ASCI socket). I have various STs to try it in including a couple of Mega 4s..
Too many retro computers here: 1040STfm, Mega4, Ultrasatanx2 , Amiga A500, A500+ and A1200, Acorn Atom x2, BBC Micro, Electron, Spectrum 48k x2, +48, +128k, QL, Oric Atmos, ZX81, Memotech MTX512, Amstrad 6128 x2..

Hi lotharek, maybe you can build NOVA Graphic Adapter for Atari TT and Mega STE VME Bus too.

This NOVA Adapter is for ET4000 and ATI Mach32/64 ISA Graphic Cards ...

ET4000 Graphic Cards works only quite a few Cards, depending form the DAC Chip on the ET4000 Card ...

Is that exclusively for the Mega STe/TT or can it be worked into a plain STe?

... maybe if someone adapt it to a Atari 1040ST or STE.

The Nova Card there were also for a Atari Mega ST Bus or for the Atari Falcon ...
