never seen one of these

the long oblong socket goes in place of the video shifter chip and then the chip goes into the socket (the VS chip is inside the silver box in the middle of the motherboard

the other part goes over a surface mounted MMU chip only

if you have a socketed MMU chip then you can't use this kit

this is a very poor design as the MMU part will "pop" off especially if it has been fitted and removed a few times and the socket becomes slack

slapping glue all over the place is NOT the answer either

make some kind of hard foam packing between the metal shield top and memory to hold it in place

you would also need to turn off the original 1040 memory if you want to use the 4mb

using the marpet install manual will tell you this
