I'll do that as soon as I can. As for CPU-specific code - I guess you invalidate the cache at some points?

'unpack' it in an emulator.

Understood - but I don't "do" emulators. :roll:

If you have a Windows machine (or run Wine in Linux), MSA Converter can extract the files from the ST image.

Thanks for the release. Is there any chance for the source code to be released too?

Great news and huge thanks to Dan for taking the time and making the effort to get this released.

With Magic being closed source and MINT being a little resource hungry for 16-bit machines, Geneva with its source code could mean exciting times for ST owners.

According to the last sentence from that webpage, there is a chance :)
And if I remember correctly, Dan has confirmed this also in this thread somewhere.

Thank you Dan for the releases! I bought Geneva and Neodesk back in the day and used them until I couldn't resist the internet/WWW any longer. :) Glad to see this preserved now.

I'm posting this here as well as these articles deserve to be noticed:

Gaiyan wrote:I decided to publish Al Fasoldt's articles: Secrets of Geneva - by Al Fasoldt followed up by: Secrets of NeoDesk 4 - by Al Fasoldt

Main reason was that they were hard to read in the TXT files they were distributed in. I wanted to easily reference them in my daily use. I hope you will find it useful as well.

Guys,

I'm sorry to revive an old thread, but the original author's website isn't accessible anymore.
Do someone have the files mirrored somewhere?
Web Archive also doesn't have the files, only the pages. I've missed this back then :-(

Thanks!

@spiny,

Thanks!
This is really odd. Immediately after I saw your response I opened the link and it works at my cellphone. I can download the files.
However, at my desktop (tried at two different computers) the link gives me a 404 error. And all devices are connected at the same network.
I had to mail me the files, but at least I now have and can use them.

Thanks again!

Make sure you aren't connecting with HTTPS instead of HTTP, I had this problem as well.

@jokker

That is it! Disabled my HTTPS plugin and was able to reach the files!

Thanks a lot!
