Is there way I can get older version of NVDI or Turbo ST or Wrap 9?'

Keeps on getting IP already in use error.... when ever I try it.

Shredder11 wrote:I've found this with the occasional files on RapidShare and there is no solution, other than downloading from another location that uses a different ISP. Both my best friend and I are on the same ISP but in different locations and we still get the same IP in use message. However if he tries downloading the same files from his work location that uses a different ISP, he has no problems. I could try IP proxies but it would still involve your ISP at some stage of the journey.

I tried warp9 that wthorbjo uploaded but it seems it's not working with cubase
even though I tried what the manual note instructs
Thanks

Are they re-writes of the GUI rendering portions of GEM or something?

Very true! Blink and you miss it! espcially running in mono!Frank B wrote:alexh wrote:Out of interest. What are "NVDI 5", "Turbo ST", "Quick ST" or "Warp 9"? Are they just for the ST & TT or Falcon too?

They provide the VDI and GDOS layers. They provide a huge speed boost because most software on the ST cheats and aligns all elements on a multiple of 8 pixels for speed.
NVDI makes a stock Falcon very snappy indeed.

This is what was being said as well over this side of the world back in the late eighties.
