A web browser on MIster

Postby Glaurung » Sat May 18, 2019 4:32 am

It is possible some kind of web browser on mister f12 core menu?
I understand that mister softyware is some kind of LINUX, so maybe its posible,or some kind of puppy linux inside?
Will be nice to have in the f12 core option a "web browser", so we dont have to switch to PC to chek mail or check atariforum..
I donty have skills to to this, just wondering if it s posible

Indeed :)

I recently brought the mister to work (chaos at home due to moving), and now I have it running more or less as I want it, with a couple of extra filesystem images loopback mounted - gentoo.img for the software I want, and home.img for home directory. On bootup, these are mounted and an init-script fires up telnetd, sshd, tinyproxy and a few other useful daemons chrooted inside the gentoo filesystem, accessible from Amiga on the Minimig core.
