You just need to search for 40mm fan 5v. I have heard 12v can also be used for quieter operation. The cheapest will probably be from eBay shipped from China or Hong Kong for around $1 USD.

There will be many to choose from and you can pick one that meets your noise-level, cost and delivery time requirements.

You may want to check this link: https://misteraddons.com/40mm-fan-shoot ... t-1-noise/

I changed a 5v to a 12v and it made a world of difference.

there is ADDA fan i use. It's quieter than Noctua. And it costs only 5USD!
With 3.3V it even quieter.
Noctua is not a panacea.

Ok, and 3.3 V is not a problem with the 5 V supplies the MiSTer?

The Noctua fans are overkill for MiSTer.
A generic 12v 40x40x10 fan will move plenty of air, and be whisper quiet

But the Noctua running @3V (68R in the line) is even more silent :D

But I’m maybe not normal - I‘m also running a water cooling for my PC, but not for overclocking but for silence.

ADDA is more quieter than Noctua either on 5V and 3.3V. You don't need to use resistor. Just modify the IOBoard to supply 3.3v. There is 3.3V on IOBoard.
Future IOBoard versions will include FAN option 3.3V/5V

How you modify the IOBoard to supply 3.3V? Any link or diagram?

No links. You just need to understand the schematics and ready to tinker.
