Mister GPIO Pinout

Postby dave18 » Sun Jun 03, 2018 5:49 pm

Hi

Is there a standard pinout for how MiSTer uses the GPIO pins? I'm interested as I'd like to hook up sound output on GPIO_1 to external speakers rather than have HDMI sound. It should be simple to do this without needing a full blown IO board.

Thanks

Dave

Just follow original I/O board schematic and use the same pins - so every core will have the sound.
It's better to order the empty I/O board from PCBWay - it's only $5 for 10 pcs.
You don't need to populate the whole board - you can solder only parts you need.

PCB fabrication is a bit more expensive in the UK, but will keep an eye out for one for sale.
