The Kernel works well but no wifi...

did you look at dmesg output?

my guess is you need the bin file

viewtopic.php?f=117&t=32969&p=344349&hilit=mt7601u#p344349

Does not work :(

My dmesg:

Can someone help me out please

If you go into console or SSH and type "dmesg" you should get some info, but at the very least, the USB vendor and product IDs which can be used to identify the specific Ralink chipset.

I have one similar, and dmesg report me this on infinite loop:

The Update Process over wifi works but i have the problem that it is very slow.
It needs for one single check, downloading approximately about 3 Minutes.

Anybody with the same Problem?

Is there a other problem with my system? The usb hub maybe is responsable?

Yes, Linux/usb hub combination. try all the different usb slots.

Wow, thx! The Solution was, indeed, to change the Device in other slots!

Did something change in the last Linux release?
My dongle was working but after I've ran the latest update, it's no longer recognized.

it depends what version you've used before. I didn't change USB code many months.

I think it was the powered hub (or lack thereof). It has been stable after I gave it juice.
I'm not sure why it worked before, but I suppose it was a fluke.

In any case it isn't driver related, happy I got two of these WiFi dongles from AliExpress.

Hey,

for those who have problems with the update script updating slowly over wifi:
I'm using an EDIMAX EN-7811Un wifi dongle (which has been automaticly been recognized) and two 8Bitdo PS Classic receivers on a 7-port usb hub.

When both of the 8Bitdo receivers were plugged in the wifi connects but the update process is extremly slow or even stopps working.
I first disconnected both receivers and the update works immediately after a quick restart of the mister.

Then I found out that with one receiver the update script also works, so the problem has to be with two of the same receivers plugged into the usb hub.

Hope this helps other people.
