There's no internal RTC chip in MiST.

Would it be possible to use the internal RS232 of the MiST (made a seperate topic for DCF, but that would need an antenna outside the case)?

An even easier solution would be to use a digispark with i2c-tiny-usb firmware https://github.com/harbaum/I2C-Tiny-USB ... /digispark and connect that to any i2c-rtc. The result could just be plugged into one of the MISTs USB ports. Of course this also needs support to be added to the firmware and to the core.

I think i started something like that a few years ago ....
