Mist 1.3 question

Hola folks

Quick question: Has the video quality on the Mist 1.3 improved over the previous design? I briefly had the previous version (just before he announced the 1.3 model) and wasn't happy with the video quality from it. If I used a CRT monitor it was fine, but with a LCD I would see some very faint striping in the picture. I have seen posts from other folks indicating that they had it too, so it wasn't just my unit.

I am thinking of giving the 1.3 a try, but would like to verify if the video output has been improved.

I don't think so. The striping you refer to has to do with video timings and is specific per core. Some LCDs have settings to adjust it a bit, otherse one cheap-ish solution I found was to use an arcade video upscaler (even if leaving at 480p resolution) as it smooths the image.
