Me. I use them all the time.

Ha, I was going to say, pretty sure a lot of people do. Replace their aging old Atari ST with a MiST in a music studio is a really big draw.... slap in any ol' LCD with VGA support, a USB keyboard/mouse and you have the potential for a lot less space taken in the setup.

Plus... how cool would it be to get 16 MiSTs together to play MIDI maze?
Atari 8Bits: 800xl, 600xl, XEGS, 800, 130xe, 130xe (fully upgraded (soon!))

yes but it is nice to have a cheaper option for the people who don't use midi port like me.

Yeah, not sure why Lotharek dropped the 'no-MIDI ports' option. Unless it was just a simple matter of more people ordering it with than without.

Probably simpler to manufacture just one PCB than two types...

I think the MIDI ports are just a daughterboard.
Atarian since 1989. Atari 1040STFM, 4MB 520STe with UltraSatan and Unitor N, A dodgy 1 MBSTe that bombs out after a few minutes, and a 14MB 48MHz Falcon 030 with NetUSBee and Soundpool 8 channel DAC. Plus my new MiST!

Right. So they combined it to avoid to have to manifacture it, maybe?
