Please help- simple command in ZX Spectrum core

I am learning about this fantastic computer and playing with the MIST core. It supports many file types, and the core gui menu divides those types by disk or tape. I can load tape files just fine. Disk has me baffled. I'm searching youtube and online tutorials for such a basic, silly thing:

What are the exact steps to load a disk based file in this core?

Thank you for the link but especially for EVERYTHING you do! I read the instructions but still having trouble. Forgive me please as I never had a speccy back in the day.

For Tapes: I learned I must select 'Tape Loader' BEFORE loading up a tape in the GUI.

For example, for Disks: I have tried:

Load "Base (1992)(Inforkom).trd"
Load "Base (1992)(Inforkom)"
Load "Base"

...and the same options with 'Run' replacing Load.

Do I need to load a disk through the GUI before or after some command, and what is the proper command for loading a DISK based file the ZX Spectrrum core supports? Thank you again Sorgelig.

I made some progress after trying out the F11 feature called "mr gluk reset service" and can boot a disk based game file from there...

isnt there a simple command from 128 basic or so like

Load ""

...to load software?

Select trd disk in OSD, then from ZX 128 menu choose TR-DOS. Then in TR-DOS command line you can explore disk and load files according to manual i gave above.

Strange... now my tape loading is the OPPOSITE as before: I now must select a .TAP file from the OSD BEFORE selecting "Tape Loader." Is that a core change?

Also, @Sorgelig, any chance that file you linked could be restored to download a backup copy? I wish to review it because now I can't load up a disk file for anything. TR-DOS option just flashes for a moment and returns to the 128 menu regardless of trying to load a disk before or afterwards. I am using the latest core.

TAP file can be selected before loading command or after. Depending the loading mode you want. It's described in readme.

Thanks again Sorgelig! I think I get it - for FAST load you load BEFORE hitting Tape Loader, and if you want to watch a few films and have lunch, one can reverse the order.
