Is there any way to mount and manipulate the msx.vhd files from Windows? I don't want to have to boot another OS to do that if I don't have to...

EDIT: Disregard, found this (https://www.howtogeek.com/51174/mount-a ... ght-click/) which works fine.

Problems so far:
- First boot MSX detects only 2048kb and does not load MSX DOS. After a reset it works
- Most of the times after MSX DOS loaded there is a "Enter" key repeat until I press "Enter" again. That happened on old core
- Darker colours

I don't know if it is possible to run games in CAS (cassette) format.

I forked this core, i have solved some bugs, before this core did not work on SDRAM different from MICRON (old problem) now it works on all sdram models. I have also solved the problem that it did not recognize 4mb on first boot and now also loads the MSXDOS on the first boot.
There is a problem in this core and it is that the video signal is slightly attenuated, and the problem of the enter key pressed continues, this problem comes from the firmware since it only happens when you change the core, when pressing the enter key it repeats constantly.

Thanks to slingshot for port this core.

Great! I wanted to fix those loading issues, but other cores took the time. So thank you! Don't think the repeating Enter comes from the firmware, since no other core is affected. Something in the ps2 controller maybe.
Ah, IO standard was set to 2.5V - big mistake from my side.

Now MSX-DOS boots at first start and 4096Kbytes of ram are soon recognized.

But, in addition to the problem of the RETURN key there is the 6 key as if it were pressed continuously when they are in DOS
Thanks for your effort to solve problems with this fantastic core.

I've fixed it differently without sacrificing the 2M/4M OSD option:

It boots, load Multimente as default program in autoexec.bat but when I esc from the program on the dos is how I press continuosly the "6" key.

Previous 20181121 release doesn't have this bug. It require only a reset to recognize DOS and boot correctly.
No other ghost key after the return on the boot.

Thanks Slingshot for you effort to solve these bugs.

I have seen that the joystick does not work either.
USB gamepad only recognizes up and down.
DB9 port 1 works OK.
DB9 port 2 does not work.

The core doesn't know if it's an USB or DB9 port.
But I see there's still a latch in the joystick code, it may cause timing uncertainty.

I know, seems that the bug comes from there, if you press certain combinations in the usb gamepad, stop repeating the enter and start repeating the gamepad codes.

I tried joytest.com now and both joy ports are working.
e.g. 'joytest 1' for the first port, 'joytest 2' for the second one. But pressing certain combinations using joy emu (which is impossible with a real device, e.g. left and right together) switches the test to another mode, like multitap an so on. I think it's not a bug.

I've found an issue, now MGLOCM (https://gnogni.altervista.org/ocm/20180 ... y%20KdL.7z 20180727 OCM-PLD Pack v3.6.2 by KdL.7z\ocm-pld v3.6.2\msxtools\mglunch\) doesn't work well, some games run using /r option but most of them don't run again, MSX freezes or gets reset  Now I'm using again 20181121 version.

Yes, I think Core release 20181121 is more reliable. For now.

Do you have an example what worked and what's not now?

Just try to load roms / megaroms using mglocm, you'll notice the difference. I tried several games: Goonies from Kralizec, Zanac EX, Zanac EX Patched, F1 Spirit, Aleste, Scramble Formation...

Just tried again, once I put "MGLOCM ALESTE.ROM", MSX resets but no game appears. If I use 20181121 core, this command runs Aleste immediately :) .

It was not a dream, tried Aleste.rom and F1sprit.rom, both work. So no idea what's the problem.

I'm using just the same card content that I used before, same tools and OS. It's the same I use on muy 1chipMSX. Mglocm doesn't work well using last Core version

Ok, I found it...I've used an older MGLOCM, which worked.
Try the new release:
