Selecting VGA mode the core runs at 60Hz for sake of compatibility, 50Hz over RGB is because of Hungary is a PAL (formerly SECAM) area. It is a feature, not a bug!

The HT1080z core's author sent me the source code, I upload it here as an attachment.

Feel free to modify (60Hz over RGB or FAT16 support), port to MISTer or add to the official GitHub repo...

The project files were missing from the archive, luckily I was able to restore them. But I cannot use .cas files, not even with the original release. How is it supposed to work?

Direct program injection (ala c64 prg injection) might be a good option..

@Drog - Do you know if the HT1080z has been ported over to the Mister? someone was asking me and I dont follow the Mister stuff too closely..

It hasn't been ported yet AFAIK, but I don't own a MiSTer, and have recently no sufficient time to play with my MiST as well...
