Best MIDI player?

Postby Televicious » Fri Apr 20, 2018 5:03 am

I have tons of MIDI creation programs for the ST, but I've been looking for a really good simple MIDI player. Like one that could do playlists and is compatible with type 0 and type 1 MIDI files. I was having issues playing back a lot of MIDI files with what I've found so far. Are there any good recommendations? Maybe a more modern music player for the ST? Running on anything from 000 to 030 btw.

Crazy, I can find tons of midi players for the Amiga, but the one that had native midi ports has hardly any playback programs.

Oh this is awesome. I'll have to just try them all, thanks! Didn't think to even check out sample players. Using it with SC-88, so I will be checking these out with hundreds of files. Atari forum is the best.
