MidiShare

Postby tyk » Tue Aug 22, 2017 10:08 pm

I founded interesting thing that MidiShare had released to Atari too:
http://web.archive.org/web/200503121721 ... nload.html
but download links are dead.

Has anybody that Atari version?

It also can be useful get another OSes older versions, because you can connect different platforms via MIDI with Midishare. Modern version to another OSes can be found at https://sourceforge.net/projects/midishare/

Thank you very much.
P.S. I am not programmer ... I thought "MIDIshare" was a musical application to be used directly.

And working in real time is not something that Steinberg, C-Lab and others have already achieved, more than 30 years ago?
I ask, I'm not affirming.

It's more for programmers, but there is some simple desk accessorys for all:
MSDISK.ACC - direct to disk MidiShare sequencer
MSECHO.ACC - MidiShare echo
MSFLOW.ACC - Port/Canal routing
MSNET.ACC - MidiShare Patchbay
MSPLAY.ACC - MidiShare player
MSSCREEN.ACC - Display midi messages handler
MSSPACE.ACC - MidiShare memory manager
MSSYNTH.ACC - ST internal synthesizer
Also MidiShare idea is to make lower step to start programming with MIDI.
