Driver for Friend-Chip K..AT remote control

Postby a0tikk » Fri Nov 04, 2016 1:26 pm

Hi,

Does anyone know where I could get a driver for the Friend-Chip K..AT remote control for Cubase?

I picked one up a while ago but haven't been able to use it due to lack of a driver. Google came up blank so maybe some one on here has a copy??

The K.AT is a simple but great idea....select keyboard shortcuts via a keypad and foot switch connected to the joystick port.

I have been wondering if anyone knows if the K..AT is simply a box with a few switches wired up to a cable or if there is more to it than that because if it's reasonably straight forward I wouldn't mind putting together a slightly improved version with more pedal inputs, a couple of jog dials for the + and - as well as for the << and >> buttons and of course more buttons in place of using one of those 2nd buttons to shift the other buttons.
