Pine A64 as replacement for Raspberry pi?

Pine A64 as replacement for Raspberry pi?

Hi,

Would it be an option to consider to change the cosmosex to the Pine A64 its cheaper and much more powerfull.
You got a quad-core ARM, 2GB and gigabit for less then $29,00 the cheapest version is $15

What's the point? Is the Pi CPU a bottle neck for CosmosEx?

Unless they are 100% the same form factor and I/O header pin-out then the CosmosEx adapter boards would have to be re-worked which is a big NRE (non-recoverable expenditure).

And then you have two platforms to write firmware for and debug? Surely too much for a developer already struggling to find the time to fully support the platform he's got to the level he'd like :)
