I want to do a 'proper' demo, but for that I need to get GND involved, and he's just -too- busy these days, but who knows :D

it was a shame that all the pics got lumped into one catagory, but such is life :D

were you sat in front of us (with the BBC guy) as I'm sure I over heard that they were from near bristol.

oh, and possibly a weird question, is your wife / partner called rachel ?

ah, well it wasn't you I saw then :D

on the sunday I saw one of the guys at the party with his wife/partner who was my boss from a previous job, we both looked at each other as we passed the lifts but didn't say anything, I just wanted to find out who it was so I could pass on a message if it was my old boss :)

i think the nyan/rainbow cat thing will be long over by the time I get round to making one, so I won't bother :D I just stuck it in as ajoke, as there seems to be one for every platform, there was a BBC micro version released at the party :D

Any luck with that one?

If not, then you've got 'X128' but that needs a CT60 level of hardware

And it was nice to get to chat at 3am on the Sunday morning with you Spiny. I got home at around 4am in the end!

Coolio, I've got a feeling that Justin Beeper will only run correctly on an actual 16k Speccy, the end-user experience you described would probably be the same on a real 48k machine. There are all sorts of technical reasons why that Gasman mentioned somewhere.

Err poo, where did you park Spiny? I was in the railway station multistorey, which was on a £2 a day ticket (£3.50 when I went to retrieve mine at 03.00hrs on Sunday morning.)

Do go for it! Any ideas what you fancy doing, just to whet our appetites?

Not any decent one that I know of. I dunno even if PeP had ported one for the CT60? - Unlikely.

Actually, having viewed the Youtube recording to assist with my retrospective recalling, he wrote about the difficulties of coding for the 16k machine in the demo scrolltext itself

Yeah, and having massive amounts of drink the night before into the wee small hours would have really helped with that mission!

@ CiH - Was very nice to see it running on a 1992 emulator on the Atari though! :) I'll check out how it goes on an ST :)))

@ Spiny - Is it possible to get an MP3 of the tune? 8)

native: I'll try and work out the easiest way of doing that - probably with Audacity I expect.
it'll have to fade out at the end as the track loops without a gap :)
