Hi All.
First i don't know if this is the right place to post this.

My name is Peter this is my first post i have been a member for some time.
+20 year i had an Atari 520 ST FM and i made a couple of programs mostly music programs, i also started on some demos and games but i never got to finish them because of the music programs. then i got a PC and started making music programs on the pc but my interests of programming died out, the last thing that i programmed, was a ST sound Chip emulation, at that time i started to think, it could be nice to buy a new Atari ST, but i never got to buy it, it was 11 year ago. this Feb. i bought one and old ST 520 FM that has ben fitted with 1024mb ram and a double side disk. so now i am beginning to program again and i will try to make some of the program and demos i never got to make. i have started on a demo nothing fancy some Raster tubes and full screen tiles (Not No borders Demos) but pretty old school. the next thing i have to make is a sample player so i can get some music in my demo :-)
i will post it here when its finish and hope on some positive criticism and advice. most of my old Atari Work is gone but one of my old player survived.
If anyone would like to see something that I've made before, can try searching for FedePede04 on YouTube.

Nice to see that Atari ST still live.
to all you beautiful Atari fans can you have a good day.
Peter.

Thanks for the welcome.
i think it will takes some time before my new thing is finish, I found out that I am very rusty in the 68000 asm programming
. I have been forced to the reprograming several of my routines multiple times. :-(
but it goes the right way.
Peter.

It can play most of stsnd95 files, but you have to unpack the files first, and then load them as bin files.

Hi Spiny
It was made 11+ years ago on a win98/win2k plat form it dos not even work properly under XP, sometime it wont start playing.
it was made in Delphi, but most of the code was in asm. i still have the source code but no 64bit Delphi so i can't compile a new version.
so you have to use your xp computer :-)

Thanks Zorro 2

A little info about the player.
If it don't play try press F5 then F10

The Player don't use any sampling of wave form
it generate a square wave from using a on/off gate, if you set clock skips to 1 it will go true the routine like the real ym2149.
it do not sync the wave output, i try a lot of different methods, but none were really good, they produce a clicking sound :-(
but the good thing in using on/off gate instead of a fast wave form, is in the high freq try set clock speed to 1 and over sampling to 8 (f10) and try playing something with high freq like 3D Galaxy or Warhawk.
