What can/needs to be done?

We need *reliable* DB admin people - e.g. people to take screenshots and upload them, find out the credits of the demos / Falcon games etc.

We need PHP coders who are reliable. Dal_1978 fixed a shit-load of small annoying bugs but he's got more important real-life things going on so he's not been back in ages. Still see him on FB so I know he's alive :)

Same with Bullis - he was doing a load of DB admin work but he's not been seen on here in ages either.

What we need is someone with knowledge of php, help us out.

I'm still working on http://flaffle.com

I've added numerous things since it was first mentioned in this thread. It's coming together pretty nicely, but it's quite cumbersome for one person (well, 3) to add all the productions. :) I'm using around 3 hours of my time every day to work on the site. I'd probably increase that if there a bit of activity. I haven't done any publicity for the site up until now, as I'd wanted to keep it fairly low traffic until it was 'stable' to some degree.

I'd first planned on keeping it as oldskool as possible, and it's staying that way. You'll notice it looks fairly like a BBS. There's also accesskeys for the important links, so you can navigate the site in true BBS style!

Feel free to give it a second look. Register, post on the BBS, add some prods/groups/parties, etc. If you have any constructive criticism, let me know in the appropriate BBS section.

Cheers!

Welcome Malodix! Flaffle looks great. I will have a poke around when I've got a bit more time on my hands.

@StickHead: Thanks for the kind words. There's still much to do, but she's definitely getting somewhere.

@sink: Any help would be good help! :) My main problem just now is the database. Feel free to register and add in some groups/productions/parties. There's also various other things that need to be done if you want more!

I think the foundations are there for a great community. All it needs is the people. Hint hint!

Hello!

Great idea. To have at least 1 database for Atari ST (XL?)
is a must.
I like aminet and think there should be something alike.
What about hosting the files in atari-forum.com?
