Re: ATI card status opinion

Guess so. But the SV is made by people who want to use it themselves, not make money. Personally my interest in this project is that I want a really good & compatible graphics solution for my own CT60. A very selfish goal, I guess :) Hopefully that ensures that it's useful to others too. I don'...

And yes, the SuperVidel has been shown in public several times, and it's nearly finished. The CTPCI on the other hand wasn't finished at release (it didn't even run XaAES and recent MiNT-kernels), the IDE port is still not working, and the only card that actually works is the Radeon. Well you know ...

What a prat! So he buys up Falcons, does nothing with them to add any value, and sells them back at over twice the price?
Sickening, so it is :(

Re: Is it me or is there a lot of silly prices on eBay right

I noticed a couple of users who watch the market for some of these items and snap up any that are going for reasonable prices, only to immediately resell them at a higher rate. Lost a couple of joysticks a while back to one of them and thought "argh, I'd have paid more just to stop them from ma...

I've included a lap time saver for this title and, as always, you may also quit the game to the desktop and save your game progress using memory snapshots on real machines (and on emulators, too). It should also be compatible with modern OSes, like Mint or MagiC, even when I have very limited exper...

I also tried on my old 19" LCD display screen, and the image is very clear, but in black and white, and I can only access the desktop menu of my 520 STE. It looks like the desktop can be displayed with 640x480 resolution. But when I launch a game, my LCD displays an error message : "Unsup...

The guy who did the Warrington one got a 4 year sentence on Monday of this week. As did someone from (I think) Northwich (down the road, also in the county of Cheshire). As a rap on the knuckles go, this to some people seems appropriate due to the circumstances of 'what could have been' but when yo...

He generally worked in stores, but if they were down too many people on the production line, he sometimes had to fill in there. (They just sat at a belt and inspected components, and threw out the bad ones.) The main new rule they brought in was 'no talking' - so basically you had to sit and stare ...

Minecraft?
I doubt it's Rogue - "bad graphics" would be more like "not really graphics". Maybe the PD game "Hero"? I think that was on an LAPD floppy. It had generators and monsters, but not sure about the torches/lamps.

To be quite honest look at the 'kids' on the TV actually doing it, they're all school age and as it's August they haven't got any school, all bored and want something to do, so a punch-up with the police and some criminal damage is perfect. Heh, maybe. I caught a glance of the news on TV the other ...

What tools do hackers and tinkerers use to disassemble programs and games. Is it a highly skilled job, or are there some easy hacks? Best and most used tool is Steem Debugger. You need good 68000 ASM knowledge, ST(E), Falcon architecture knowledge and plenty of time. Yes, it is highly skilled in mo...

I remember a utility for reading and writing to Mac disks from the Atari... by Gregory Lemperle-Kerr IIRC.
