Claus is thinking about the possibility of making Scheibenkleister available on the net.
It seems there have been issues with contacting one of them, so they can't discuss this atm.

Hmm, not sure I understand what you mean. I just wanted to express he would try to find or have made proper DB-19 connectors. I would try to contact him. But I think two things come before. First I would like to hear something from Jookie. Does he want to be somehow involved in the new production, ...

What Macs do you refer to? Recent ones, older PPCs, 68k Macs? A Java runtime environment is sort of available for all of them. You might need to find a download source if it's 68k or Mac OS 9 or below. Usually the Java engine should be on the Mac OS Disks though. You may PM or ICQ me for further det...

I do have some ideas for improvements. But again, may be the first is to decide if we should wait or not. At the time given it is not certain tuxie will make (have made) any SatanDisks. It all depends on the interest plus the price he can offer for an industry made product. If he does it I don't th...

But first needs to be working with bigger SD card (remove the 1 GB limit), with other driver than HDDRIVER and hopefully should be able to work at the same time as ICD adapter and yes power supply is a pain. You can use other drivers than HdDriver. But HdDriver seems to be the best one so far in ge...

Ok, thanks for investigating. :)

I'll try if the TT allows more than one gig on its acsi port as soon as I find a hard drive that suits my needs.
I think my last drive bigger than one gig that ran on Acsi is dead for some time now. :(

The 'something' you marked on your pic should be the right place to put termination resistors in.
I'm not too certain about how termination works and what has to be terminated on which setups.

I found the problem. It is a compatibility problem with SatanDisk firmware and cards with size > 1GB. The SatanDisk will wrongly detect them at half of the card capacity (for cards up to 2GB), or at a quarter of the capacity (for cards up to 4GB). Are those cards usuable in their whole capacity tho...

If you want to speed Sting up a bit, set it to use more memory in /sting/default.cfg On my Falcon with MagiC I have about one MBit DSL speed with it. As TCP/IP stack for FTP-server use it's painfully slow though. MiNTnet/ magxnet both are faster and more reliable. You can have a small MiNT setup tha...

HdDriver is compatible with windows partitioning.

I personally think that HdDriver is a very good program, and every Cent I paid for it has been worth it up to now. People who want everything for free should make their own software, or use Ahdi, Scsitool, Cbhd, ICD-Tools or Cecile (assuming that all those drivers are sort of free). Full stop! Uwe i...

Hi. I would also like minor enhancements, such as a connector that would allow easier firmware upg...
