Thanks! I was lazy to write something similar :)
Btw, DSP1/2/4 are working, and 3 if I add the auto-detection for that.

It was just a reset issue. Yes, the core is at the point when one has to fix the bugs one by one.

Was it compiled with Auto Fit? Would be better to move to Standard Fit (only black screen for me, too when using Auto Fit - and TimeQuest report is much more horrbile).

Added the RTD instruction to TG68K: https://github.com/retrofun/minimig-mist/commit/c4694d5a1fddf12f808d226a01826fd486467af4 Seems to work. MMULib doesn't crash anymore. Passes Toni Wilen's cputest (WinUAE, https://github.com/tonioni/WinUAE/tree/master/cputest) Cool! Strange this CPU test doesn't e...

The game doesn't know the file size. It only has the RAM size info from the ROM header.

Re: Mister SNES port to MIST possible?

BTW: This also gives an explanation why this affects different RAM brands differently. Their input capacitance will e.g. vary and the effect of spikes will thus also vary. Have you tried reducing the RAMs driving current? Reducing it may also reduce spikes but of course this will also have a negati...

Re: Mister SNES port to MIST possible?

@MasterOfGizmo just captured this:
glitch.jpg

That's why sending unregistered signals to the SDRAM clock domain is not a good idea - every "noise" in the source signal, which are invisible at 21MHz can be seen as a glitch @128 MHz.

You're welcome! But if you play too much, we'll never have a new FDC for the ST :) Yeah ... I know ... Anyway, the V4 runs super reliable on one of my first dev boards. It also runs on one of the later lotharek boards i have. But on that one it doesn't always start and multiple rom load/reset cycle...

Re: Mister SNES port to MIST possible?

Our MiST 1.3 from Lotharek has Hynix SDRAM H57V2562GTR-75C (its datasheet https://www.skhynix.com/product/filedata/fileDownload.do?seq=4558 ) on board I have the same. It's even better than the values in the Micron datasheet, e.g. tRC = 63ns, the core uses 62.5ns, that shouldn't cause any problem. ...

It's big, but size in the FPGA is the half. Pilotwings works for me (LoROM).

Re: Mister SNES port to MIST possible?

Well, the SDRAM is a bit "overclocked", so you must have some luck to achieve it stability. It's not a real overclocking (128MHz is in spec), but the ACTIVE-to-ACTIVE period can be 62.5ns instead of a minimum of 66. Maybe attaching a small heatsink can help (the ideal solution would be to ...

I am not sure but I guess it should be accurate. For example Toki loaded slow with STE, TOS 1.62 and 1MB ram (with 512k it was a little faster). Now it runs fine with "turbo" on. :) Maybe we can add sort of turbo floppy feature like on the Minimig core ? :) Feel free to send a patch with ...

Not sure it would be the best for development a board without any JTAG connectors. You should ask the author first if he's OK to not use an USB blaster.
