But have not actually tried restoring the image onto another drive. From what I have read you drive would need to be exactly the same size etc as the one you imaged for ASV to work correctly. Richard. That's not correct. I have done something like that very recently to backup a dying IDE harddrive....

I guess Atari won't come after you  What issues would there be when copying an aged OS that only runs on aged hardware? :) (nofi intended)

The Riebl-Card seem to need MiNT or NetBSD. Apparently there is no place around where one can d/l any TOS compatible drivers. I have added the Atari Network Service as an attachment. It is *supposed* to work with the Riebl-card. My last question, Does somebody know how i can build in the card, and ...

I know the majority of Atarians have little to spend on Ataris, the average monthly wage of some countries probably would just about buy a CT60. I think that's quite logical. If you look at what new pc-hardware costs, there would be no reason to try to use an atari as an "every-day machine&quo...

Good news, it works again! I cleaned the area around the mem-chips. When booting, the full ram was detected, but some characters were in weird colors. After using some alcohol, everything is working properly again!
Thx for helping everyone! :D

As you suggested, it is probably the ST-RAM board which decided to give up. After removing it, there is still 2048Kb detected.

What can I try to clean? (The big connectors aren't really dirty or something...)

I can't take out "pieces" of the ram: it's the whole ST-RAM board or nothing... And it doesn't like nothing... :D I have checked al connections and cleaned the area around the chips, but it has no effect  Does anyone know if there are certain jumpers/DIP-switches responsible for the d...

I have checked via the Free-space CPX and via sysinfo but there is no sign of the 2Mbyte.
Any idea what could be the cause of this?

Less RAM detected on TT?!

Today I booted my TT and during the mem-test, it only detected 2Mbyte ST-RAM, while I'm sure I have 4Mbyte ST-RAM!! I did a few cold-resets, but I still keeps saying 2048Kbyte. What is wrong here? I have opened the harddrive-cover to look at the ST-RAM board, but there's nothing weird to see... I re...

How much is this worth?

Hello Atari-fans I'm considering of selling my beloved Atari TT, because I would really like to have a Falcon... But I would like to know what I'm supposed to ask for it. So, what do I have: * Atari TT with keyboard and ST1 mouse (16Mb FastRAM and 4Mb ST Ram, 340Mb Maxtor Harddisk, lots of software ...
