Re: NetSurf GEM Port

The builds 850 and 851 refuse to start at my FieBee with the error message; "unable to load GEM ressource". The build 843 is working well. Same issue here. Tried the 851 mk68 on my CT63 Falcon with both the fresh package (uncompressed the archive and start ns020.app) and copy the contents...

Re: How to sample on an Atari

I would try to get a Mega STE preferably (internal harddisk, nicer design), but a regular 1040STE would be a good base system as well. The best module sampler probably is Microdeal Replay 16. Best software to use is really subjective to taste. I heard about the Replay 16. 16 sounds like 16 bit to b...

Re: CT63 hangs with SND players

Rodolphe, I'm running my CT63 with ABE_V7F / SDR_V7D and my CTPCI with CTPCI_1M. From Didier I received I believe a beta Boot2.01 version I flashed.

Re: CT63 hangs with SND players

BTW I already tested the DSP (don't know if these SND players depend on the DSP) with the tool mentioned in http://www.atari-forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=74&t=10664 and all three tests showed OK.

CT63 hangs with SND players

Hello, my CT63 is working flawless except for playing SND sound files with the players I found at http://sndh.atari.org/players.php . They all crash my Falcon where I can't interact with it anymore without showing an error message or anything else. It just freezes. For instance SNDPlay starts up fin...

Re: Atari TT VME Graphic Card? which one is it, please?

I believe this graphics chip is an Intel one and I never read / heard about an Intel graphics chip humming along in an Atari machine. Some info from wikipedia: "In 1983 Intel made the iSBX 275 Video Graphics Controller Multimodule Board for industrial systems based on the Multibus standard.[2] ...

Re: Atari TT VME Graphic Card? which one is it, please?

The card won't work without installed drivers and probably will not show anything when you hook up a cable without loading drivers first. This is my experience with different graphics cards for TT's. Normally you have to do two things to get a graphics card up and running on a TT. First install the ...

Eindbaas X video report

I thought this might be an interesting show for all chiptunes lovers: http://www.gamekings.tv/videos/chiptunes-op-eindbaas-x/ It is a short report of the Eindbaas X show in Utrecht, The Netherlands where several chiptune artists performed. Some interviews are in Dutch (no subtitles unfortunately) bu...

I do have a copy and I think all bits and pieces are to be found somewhere. I think I can make an image and share it through newsgroups as I believe there is no copyright for the person who created this disc, right? 8)

Re: Wico Command Controller And Atari 1040st

Well, an STF doesn't have a blitter regardless of the TOS version.

Does your Wico joystick have a Atari / Commodore switch on the back / bottom maybe? I have some joysticks with these kinds of switches which need to be set appropriately to be able to play with them on an ST.

I myself hope this will attract more developers so the outstanding functionalities of CTPCI will also become reality (network for example). It is already a reality, look here !!! You just need a particular TOS (beta). For me, even the beta TOS rockz!!! And in a few weeks I hope the final release wi...

Re: A new project for the benefit of all classic computing!

My top 3 would be like:

1) TT accelerator, but this might turn out to be too complex re. the need for a multi layered board(?)
2) STE plug and play IDE interface
3) TT / Mega ST(E) graphics card

Simbo, I'm interested in your offer. I'll try and sort out which kind of memory baords I have in my TT's and make some pictures I'll post in here so you can comment which board is most suitable for your mod.
