Re: Apple Macintosh aka Plus Too

And another update. This time with an option to accelerate the CPU. In this mode it cannot boot from SCSI disks (some of the initial SCSI transfers look very broken on a Mac and i am not sure that it perhaps looks the same on a real Mac) but once it has booted in normal mode the turbo can be enable...

Re: Arcade Games

Pretty interesting, the more HDL code out there the better :) Some of those cores are already on the MiST but they are trying to replace the ROM. Apparently (according yo the thread) its pretty fiddly as each game has small tweaks (eg. different button mapping). Another problem is nobody wants to g...

Arcade Games

I've seen that the ZX UNO team is porting some arcades to their FPGA Board

http://zxuno.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=72

Is there any project to port more arcades to MiST? :)

Re: And another 16 bit classic

By the way, reading the Spanish page, this is the Z80 core they are using: http://opencores.org/project,tv80 I quickly tried replacing the files on the MIST's T80 folder... it compiled but didn't boot (white screen). HDL really is beyond me :( Well, hope somebody here will be able to change the Z80...

My friend (Quest of ZX Uno team) thinks that the Z80 core used on ZX Uno is better... so it has better compatibility.

Hope so :-) See for example the ZX Spectrum or C=64 cores... not the case of the SMS port, but I hope some people from the scene will improve it :D
