If they ask you for a value when you ship it it, make sure you say it's under £18 sterling (or £32 if it's a gift) or the taxman will try and stick some duty on it. I had a lot of experience ordering stuff from North America via eBay when I lived in the UK.. (Mostly DVDs that weren't available in th...

That sounds about right.. Generally it'll try and read the non-existant disk for a while and eventually default to the desktop. If you put a blank disk in, or a disk without an 'Auto' folder, it'll go straight to the desktop screen. If you put a disk in with an 'Auto' folder, it'll autoboot whatever...

Are you looking solely for an original disk of the game, or did you just want to play it? It's on Automation disk A_469a, which you should be able to find easily enough if you're an Atari Scener. You can play it by downloading the Disk image and the STEEM emulator. :) You can also download the PC ve...

Wasn't it mouse controlled? Vague memories of this being a mouse-only game. Yep mouse and keyboard I think Yeah, it is.. I was pressing every key I could think of. Rather than firing the plasma cannons, all it would do was summon some radio thing that I could send a 4-5 letter message with... :? I ...

It wasn't Terrorpods was it? That sounds about right to me.. I just had a quick go (Automation 257...

Quadralien is a touch on the odd side as well.. (Good game though..) oh yeah, and 'Theme Park Mystery' is just pure WTF?!?! A few other 'weirdies' I just thought of: Bobo in Stir Crazy Archapelagos (sp?) Emmanuelle TinTin on the Moon and (at the risk of being 'controvertial') - Another World.

Captain Blood's a bit on the weird side..
So's 'Operation Neptune' (IMHO, anyway).

Basically look at anything French...

Did anyone crack 'Lost Patrol' ?

I had the original of this back in the day, so I didn't need a cracked version back then, but I was just wondering if it was ever cracked and if so, by whom ? :?:

You need help? The only question you have asked is: "Was there a cartridge once available that allowed you to copy even protected game disks?". Not exactly as far as I know. There were cartridges that made it easier to hack games and remove copy-protection, but as for copying the toughest...

First of all, thank you so much Muguk! However, there is one problem. I specifically remeber him saying "Goddamnit" everytime he lost his energy, and it seems as if he does not in this version. You know anything about that? It was sort of my favourite thing about the game  I just tri...

Re: Another D-Bug Crack!

D-Bug rescues another lost classic. We know its old, but even though there was a recent release of this by some other people, there still wasnt a good version out there. Aparently the Falcon030 isn't 'all systems' in their eyes. This version is also megatrained, We'd credit the person who trained i...

i thought Resolution 101 as well. did a photo of the bad guy's face keep appearing at the bottom of the screen? Yep - he laughed at you when one of his shipments arrived and looked all exasperated when you took one down. The 2D graphics on that game still look good, it's just the solid 3D Freescape...

Doesn't look that way.. I know it was out on the Speccy, but I can't find it on any of the major cracking groups' Compacted Disks or on Atari Legend, so that would probably be a 'no' then.. :( I'm not even sure it was out on the Amiga - maybe you're thinking of the C64 - I generally remember it as a...

I used to play games on the Speccys and C64s they had on display at John Menzies and WH Smiths in Preston. I think they started putting computers in display cases rather than letting you touch them around the ST/Amiga era as the machines got so much more expensive, so they daren't let Joe Public get...

I used to go through joysticks like nobody's business back in the day.. Either the wire would break or the microswitches would go generally. With the 'official' Atari joysticks (like the one in Heavy Stylus's avatar) the nylon inner stick part used to break, usually on the 'ring' part that pressed d...
