Re: Pasti images that currently don’t work.

Oh, I didn't notice that I used TOS104 with STE config. I'll try it tomorrow with 1.06 instead.

Re: Pasti images that currently don’t work.

I recently tried to do a play-through of "Future Wars - Time Travelers" that I had imaged using SCP and Aufit. Unfortunately the game crashes as soon as I have to load data from disk 3. :( First I thought if was because of a bad dump of that disk, but I get the exact same behavior using a ...

Re: AUFIT Program

I get this error on a couple of the SCP images I've created, still the pasti image created seems to work flawlessly.
What exactly does this error mean?

Re: AUFIT Program

I have made an SCP image of Police Quest 2 that causes Aufit to crash. Have also made an image from a different set of Police Quest 2 disks, and that version loads just fine in Aufit. I include a link to the faulty and working image if you're interested in finding out what causes the program to cras...

Re: AUFIT Program

I know that you have a long list of things to do on Aufit, but I'd like to add one more item if that's okay with you. One thing that I really miss is that I cannot save a log file when creating a pasti image. Should be really nice to include such a log file when sharing files with others. :D

Re: List of difficult to copy disks

Hello can someone have a look at Sleepwalker (STE only) ? It's a RNC protected game, so nothing special here, but on Pasti version track 36 / side 1 on disk A has an unusual MFMSize of 9216. Other tracks on the floppy have approx 6291 bytes size, which is more expected. Looking at the image of trac...

Re: WANTED: most missing images

Here is a new copy of Space 1889. This time I used 4 revolutions. :)
Space 1889

I have also begun imaging my whole collection of original game- and utility disks. I can share them with you if you're interested.

Re: AUFIT Program

I have a small request.
I would like to be able to open compressed SCP-files directly in the Aufit program. (Zip & 7z for example)
Is this doable?

Re: AUFIT Program

Is this normal for a disk with Rob Norton protection?

Code: Select all

Track 00.0 Sect 6 has CRC error in data field
Track 00.0 Sect 6 has fuzzy bits
Track 00.0 Sect 6 Long sector 17289 µs (489 bytes over clocked)

Re: WANTED: most missing images

Thanks When creating images I recommend to create images with 4 or 5 revolutions sampled. Otherwise there is a high chance they wont be converted correctly to stx by Aufit. I'll keep that in mind the next time I create an image. How big is the difference in size of the scp-image with 4 revolutions?

Re: WANTED: most missing images

Here you have images of Space 1889. (Both gamedisk and datadisk)
Hope that it's okay as this was my first attempt using the SCP! :D

I have a copy of Space 1889 at home. I will try to image that as soon as the new diskdrive for my SCP arrives.

Re: The Obligatory 'Introduce Yourself Thread'...

Hi all. Longtime lurker emerging from the dark shadows in Sweden! I've been an Atarian since 1983 when I bought my first computer, a Atari 600XL. Had that one a couple of years til I for a brief moment turned to the dark side and bought myself a Commodore 128. Went back on the right path back...
