- Ordering New Firebee? -

If I order the complete unit, as listed on the Medusa site, what will I need to get it going? What does it include?

I am in the USA. What type of keyboard will it accept, what power supply? Case? OS? Anything else?

Thanks.

Re: Magnum TTRAM 256MB boards for the TT 030

I have a 16mb Atari board, with page mode simms. Not sure what specs those are.

What is the speed of this board in comparison, with EDO?

Re: - Aranym Config for Windows? -

I do not run software from the command line (C:\)? Or perhaps you mean, from the "command" line in the config file? Please try to run Aranym from the commandline as described above. I was able to run it from the command line, which allowed me to see where it was looking for the rom image....

And yes - Aranym is not very userfriendly.

Re: - Aranym Config for Windows? -

To continue my rant...this is 2014....not 1983 with autoexec.bat files. If this software had a front-end like Steem, for easy configuration, I bet it would be 10 years ahead in development hours. Ironic...bringing Atari into the modern era...with the user-friendliness setup of DOS. Only worse. /rant...

Re: - Aranym Config for Windows? -

ARAnyM for MS Windows stores its configuration in user's "Documents" folder in subfolder named ".aranym" by default (unless instructed otherwise using the "-c <filename>" command line parameter). Uhh, I can't name the folder ".aranym". Seriously, this is user...

Re: EasyAraMint : a modern OS for Aranym

Warp12, It's easy. You need first to install Aranym (aranym.org), then download EasyAraMint, uncompress it, read carefully the install guide readme.pdf, copy the files in the indicated directory which is different from one system to the other, execute a few setup to have internet running et voila. ...

I hate to ask such a dumb question, but... So, what do I need to do to get this setup going? Install Aranym with basic settings, and then add this in? I'm a little confused. I am a Technical Writer, and I do have a lot of computer experience...just not so much with Aranym. If someone could help me u...

In one TT I use a serial mouse which needs a special driver: http://storage.atari-source.org/atari/mirrors/chapelie.rma.ac.be/atari/utilities/mouse26beta.lzh Works very well depending on the actual mouse you got. -Helmut I recall the seri...

Re: - My "New" Atari TT and Upgrades -

That's a little more involved than I would like to get. I am checking with the Atari vendor to see if they have the resistors. In the meantime, I found some online: "Resistor Pack SIP Termination for SCSI, 221/331 8 pin 6 line, Pin 1 +5 volt and Pin 8 is ground, Pins 2 - 7 are signal in/out&qu...

Re: - My "New" Atari TT and Upgrades -

The Atari TT has no Termpower for a terminator block plugged in the external SCSI connector ... The internal HD provides Termpower to the SCSI Bus, so solder a wire from PIN_26 /internal 50pin SCSI Plug to PIN 25 /external SCSI Plug ... or build this ... Diode is 1N400x and a 1 Ampere SMD Fuse That...
