That friend is obviously a keeper... :) There's so much free stuff out there now, it's impossible to cover it all, but some places worth checking out is: [A]tari [G]ame [T]ools - 2D prototyping engine for STE http://www.atari-forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=31558#p316951 Atari Document Archive - ...

Well, finally found my 1mb F030 ram board, aswell as the audio in/output components removed from the replacement mobo, aswell as the RFunit.

These are included with the mobo.

Re: Crow of Creation - Falcon

Interesting, that page lists 1.4A being the la(te)st version however the biggest version number I have seen is 1.3B (which accidentally seems to be the la(te)st version for 040 and the history on the very same page goes only up to 1.3B as well?) Has anyone ever seen a 1.4 version? I did, this weeke...

Re: I just bought an Atari Mega ST4 with hard drive in it!

Strange, I know people succesfully replaced the SF354 drive for double sided drives with no problems, and modern drives don't use 12v, on gotek that pin should not be connected anywhere. So I am curious on how 12v could have made it's way to your USB port. Could you post some pics of the board you a...

Re: Midi out enable games without midi support

It's certainly possible, just like adding hdd support and patching games to work on all ataris, but as siriushardware says, for most games someone would likely have to make suitable midi-files, since most of the better YM-tunes uses a lot of tricks to sound good, and it's not that easy as to just re...

Re: looking for this Atari Monitor Adapter (digital RGB)

I doubt there is anyone making these cables anymore. But otoh, it shouldn't be very diffcult to make yourself.

A quick google found this:
http://www.sgroup.ca/archive/informatio ... or.Pinouts

You need to doublecheck the pinouts are the same as for the S330 though.

Re: I just bought an Atari Mega ST4 with hard drive in it!

Greenious: Is there a way to hook up an internal scsi drive in the Mega ST4, it does have an internal connector and unlike the Mega STE, its automatically turned on., I have a scsi drive that I would like to put in it. Russ Yes. However, I'm not aware of any current available SCSI-interface that ca...

Re: Atari 1040 ste floppy drive boot problem

The ST(E) always search for a disk in the floppy, it's part of the boot process and completely normal. However, if no icons show, something is wrong and your atari is not detecting the floppy. To me it sounds like a loose connection of some kind, bad cable/connector, bad solder joints... You said yo...

Ok, I teased about it in my previous for sale post. Here it is, the (slightly dysfunctional) Falcon motherboard... Re: Internal mounting of Gotek or HxC in 520STM

The classic 520ST has always been something of a favourite of mine, and it has a lot more room inside than it looks like from the outside, so if you go for the PCB-version of HxC, Gotek, Satandisk, Gigafile etc you should have no problem ftting it inside. Personally, however, I think I prefer the dr...

Yes, the IKBD is programmable, and there are a few games and demos using this. I think this thread might be useful: http://www.atari-forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=5297 Emulators basically deals with this in two ways, either complete emulation of IKBD, or, by analysing the uploaded code, reconfi...

Re: multiple ikbd injector hardware wanted

Well, it should really not be so hard. Atleast in theory, you'd want gnd, power and tx from the ST(E)/TT/F030, to connect to all keyboards, tx may need buffering. TX so that all keyboards get any config changes from the computer. rx, or the signal coming from the keyboard, is what needs selecting so...

Re: Be aware of different TOS versions

I believe TOS 2 an onwards do a selfcheck with checksum, so the problem is only with TOS 1.xx.

But the diagnostic cartridge do test TOS, but I'm not sure to the extent, it would be cool to see how the STE diagnostic cart reacts to that TOS.
