Virtual Escape for your 512KB machine.
Odd stuff for your 1Mb machine
Fantasia for your MegaST
Sea of Colour for your STE
Falcon: Sonoluminzsenze (or however it's written), Underscore
Stacy: Monogatari

You've got the TT covered.

Re: a simple way to hide all Mist/Mister posts

I am not talking about the goal of the st core, but the point of including so much content unrelated to the st in an st forum.

Re: a simple way to hide all Mist/Mister posts

Also let's not forget that the main interest in ijor's core seems to be on how it can be used to improve other cores.
If the goal is to expose the ST to more people I think it failed

Re: Announcing 8bit-Unity: Cross-platform SDK for 8bit games

It looks really good and powerful so far. The problem with all these projects for old platforms is documentation, what are your plans for that?

How is it performance wise compared to natively written C code?

Re: Games fronted for ST

The thing that annoys me about our Atari systems is how if we want to run a nice OS like mint or magic, we can't boot games. Where as Amigas have a much more capable stock OS that games can be run from. If there was a game booter menu that could solve this problem then I think it would be worth it....

Mega STE VGA output

Hi,
This is what my MegaSTE outputs.

IMG_20181218_152233.jpg

Some thoughts:

The output from composite is somewhat flickery.
The VGA adapter fits too loose in the socket with a small tilt to the right. Is it possible that the socket is broken?
The capacitors seem just fine.

Any thoughts?

Re: New Joysticks / Joypads for Atari ST ?

Hi, Anybody got a link on where to find new joysticks or joypads for the Atari ST ? I have found for instance https://www.amiga-shop.net/Amiga-Hardware/Amiga-Eingabegeraete/Competition-PRO-Retro-Joystick::694.html but I am rather interested by joypads, as the games I play at the moment (for ex. Sil...

It uses 3 keys, a,b,c. So i guess a mega drive pad should be enough. But it couldnt just run on the mouse port with a two button joystick.

If you read the ejp faq there is actually a way but it is probably not supported by either cosmosex or r0x zero.

Re: Atari Falcon 030 / 060 (with CT60e 512MB, CF, ScreenBlaster) - CT60, CT63, CT60e

I have always been wondering - where those people (buyers) go then? We've seen so many ridiculously overpriced Falcons sold over the past few years but not so many additions to our user (god forbid coder) base. Do they really just put them on the shelf? Yeah. That is exactly what they do. A shelf, ...

I am now able to compare the Falcon to the Mega STE for general computing... and there is no comparison on how much snappier and usable the falcon is (which makes sense). I've had friends with 286's and 386's at the time and I didn't miss anything apart from all the cool adventures..

Check the mint.cnf file. There should be a reference to a:\mint there. This is translated to unix dir structure by mint. Anyway, i d start with vanillamint and build from that.

Ebay advertising accounts

Hi,
I've noticed that some users use this forum only to advertise their ebay auctions. It kind of annoys me for the forum to be used this way. I am not against posting ebay links, but I prefer it if it comes from members of the community and not traders. Do others feel the same way?

Re: Nostalgia Nerd - Atari Falcon video

anyway, I completely agree with Penguin-e! If you look at https://www.atariuptodate.de/en/office/ there are bunch of specialized software. If you look at Amiga users, I get felling that Amiga had nothing except games, nothing that can compare to Signum, STad, DynaCADD, Technobox, STeve, ProText (Ge...
