Re: MiST and 8bitdo retro receivers

Thanks, so I need a specific receiver from 8bitdo. 8BitDo sell they own wireless USB Adapter , looks like for "generic" use pc/mac/xbox/ps but better ask them if a driver or s/ware must be installed, or -in the case of MiST- this adapter "emulates" a generic USB joypad then acts...

Is it possible to add the the controller too ?

No, the logitech UR is compatible only with their "Unified" range of mice/keyboards, has nothing to do with bluetooth.

Re: Get images from pc to DEGAS+?

This will solve it: Options-> General -> Display All Image Filetypes This isn't an option for me. I only see a list of filetypes to save as, and all are selected. I've got XNViewMP, is that the right program? Otherwise I'll simply try to use the commandline program again, as that worked out last ti...

I would like to see a keyboard shortcut for this, its a bit PITA going to F12-menu then scroll to reset.

Re: DIY Monitor cable problems

make 100% sure you don't have any shortcuts , esp between the 12v and other pins, I bet there are polyfuses around the video circuit but as they say....better safe that sorry.

Re: DIY Monitor cable problems

IIRC there is a 12v pin there (at least on the ST video output), surely no shortcuts?

Re: HDD image size error..

thx for the help... BTW I figure what was the problem , the error in fact displayed as filename a " ' ' " , yes, an empty filename! Then I realised that it displayed the same error even when I removed all the HDD setup from the config screen. Well, so as a last option I removed the config ...

HDD image size error..

Hi, Using hatari 2.1.0 under ubuntu x64 , I am getting this error: "Unable to get size of HD image file" I did a quick search on google, looks like this issue had something to do with big (over 4GB) HDD images but in my case I m getting this error even on a small (100MB) image. Any ideas? ...

... all I did was to rename Millenium disk1.st to disk_a.st so it gets loaded at boot...(instead of loading with F12 after desktop) Strange that this makes the difference...does it make sense to you? ... I have the impression that the ST core is sometimes is bypassing very quick the floppy boot in ...

Re: window size and position

IIRC olwm supported something like this, but in fact the app supposed to be compiled for that. anyway other option is using xdotool using a script like this: hatari & sleep 2 xdotool search --name "Hatari" windowsize 100 100 xdotool search --name "Hatari" windowmove 10 10

Re: window size and position

technicaly this could be possible by using a custom script that uses wmctrl + xwininfo (at least under linux, I bet OSX has the same or similar utils)

Re: Mist Power Supply.

I´d buy a correctly rated, good quality PSU, e.g. from Amazon. Why would one want to risk his precious MiST board, just to save a few €? OP mentioned "Samsung adapter", I assume for mobile phones/tablets (fixed cable with micro usb), on that case, the voltage on the end of the cable is 5v...

Re: Mist Power Supply.

USB power specs is 5v +- 5% , I doubt the extra .3v will do any harm, but this depends on how the MiST is designed (eg if there is any voltage regulator installed) (Till and Lotharek know better)
