Re: Real floppy drives with MiSTer?

+1 :D .
If someone one day have the time to spend or is interested to implement this on the Amiga (Or other) core, it would be very interesting.
I would find it fantastic and fun to hear again the floppy drive sound.

Re: Local Sellers for MiSTer Expansion Boards

D33zel wrote I got one of these, I ordered Arduino male to female cables and it works well. I'm agree for those he sold with no 2x20 pin shifted. With arduino dupont cable it can work. But mine have the 2x20 shifted. If you have a photo of your working board with 2x20 pin shifted like mine on the p...

Re: Possible to save zipped rom?

Thanks a lot for your answer. Now it's clear. Well, when I installed Steem SSE combined with GamebaseST v3.1d (that's seems to me the best and easiest way to have a real huge game collection), there is a database (GBST v3.1d.rar) making the link between the ROMs and Gamebase. Is there an (semi-)auto...

Possible to save zipped rom?

Hi all, First of all, thanks a lot for the epic work performed by the Steem team. Just huge. My question is (maybe it is more general than only Steem, but I'm using SSE 3.7.3 so...): is it possible to save the game in a zipped rom or it is necessary to unzip the .st file to be able to save during th...

Re: Help finding the name/rom for a maze game

Found it, its just called "MAZE" written by Martin Dennett and John Parker for Atari ST User... 10mins, not bad to hunt out a floppy from my huge stack of floppies.. though would have been quicker but my "test ST" is in a lot of bits and had to assemble a few things first  ...

Help finding the name/rom for a maze game

I'm looking to find the name of a maze game I used to play which came on the front cover of an ST user magazine - You played tag in a 3D maze with Beethoven's 'Moonlight Sonata' playing in the background. It was a 2 player game, and both players were essentially 3d floating cards (I think one was re...

Re: Ultimate Ripper Cartridge

You could wire up the ring interrupt pin within the RS232 to pause the system and change a few bytes. But you had to know exactly what bytes you need to change. You couldn't trace through the code which was very disappointing.

Re: RGB Scart Lead

thank for info. If I understand from what you said I don't need to use Atari pin 8(+12) for anything, it just auto switches to scart channel. I can just use a tv remove instead to switch to AV. I'll connect pin 12 (V-sync) to scart pin 16( but should I leave the resistor, because on the pinouts you ...

RGB Scart Lead

I bought an RGB scart lead on ebay for an Atari St 520stfm. It works but only displays composite mode, I can't get RGB to work, I tried on 3 different TV's which all support RGB. I took the lead apart and the wiring is: 13-Pin DIN----------------Scart 1 (sound out)------------ 2+6 (Sound in left + r...
