Re: File that can not be deleted or renamed.

Kobold was able to delete funny entries in the FAT, normally written by fat32 on Fat16 format. But it does not wipe or zero out the partition. It deletes the file by marking it as delete on the FAT. Hddriver can wipe the partition by INIT function. If you use Big DOS, I think you can connect your HD...

Re: Faster Ethernet? Anything available?

No not strange.
The board design changed to provide mechanical stability. Also CTPCI are no longer produced so why design for it??
Instead he will run again his Supervidel for the CT60e. Makes good business sense.

Re: not-so-stable TT

When I want to copy a directory I always get an error in a form of "Can not copy a file <two letter file name here>". And that file in fact doesn't exist in the source directory... This one clue here seems like artifact of FAT32 writting by MS DOS onto the card. It uses extra entries in n...

Have not tried running MiNT from floppy. So no idea what happened.
On the wiki there was an article on scsi and TT but the wiki is not accessible now.

Re: not-so-stable TT

You really are too ambitious. I was only thinking of NVDI from floppy not MiNT. But it does proof that the issue is SCSI2SD related.
Forget about running MiNT from floppy get the scsi issue solved. I think you need not have terminators but need short cables only.

Re: not-so-stable TT

have you tried removing the scsi2sd and running everything from hxc ?
You can make a monster floppy with hxc ( 4MB IIRC ) and test this.

Although the .com domain name in this forum URL, it is in fact housed in UK.
So many here speaks the local British colloquial. The Beeb is one of them, it should mean the BBC Micro.
It may also mean VW Beetle but then they aren't EU.

Re: Game coding

MrPixel was here asking questions about coding but was ridiculed by lots of Atari users instead. The problem was he was asking non-Atari system coding questions.... in the chat and non-Atari system section of the forum. Seems legitimate and OK to do so as there is such sections.... but seems not so ...

Re: How to copy multiple files at once?

May be one of several incompatibility due to disk format (Atari or MSDOS format) and disk size (360KB, 720KB or 1.44KB) detection on Windows. Best to take a 720KB (depends on your Atari disk drive) and format it in MSDOS - the ST can read a MSDOS format diskette while Windows cannot read an Atari fo...
