Re: Dreaming of a Next Gen Atari - one can Dream!

Like I originally said... and use your old software on the soup-ed up machines.
And don't forget to put that parallel port for printers.... if you can find a printer with // port.

otherwise huge software development is need.

Re: Dreaming of a Next Gen Atari - one can Dream!

I mean modern capabilities like HTML5, PCL 6 etc... old programs will be very isolated. Even printing is tough... like FB needs to have a proper parallel port before it can print anything.

Huge software development is needed...

Re: TT030 vs Boosted Mega STe?

Granted, if I could get colored icons in either, it'd be awesome. Would love to use the TT as a workstation/game station. you can get coloured icon on both, via William's site http://gtello.pagesperso-orange.fr/colorste.htm http://gtello.pagesperso-orange.fr/colortt_e.htm I tried it on my TT, it wo...

Re: Falcon Centscreen NVDI two bombs on boot

I run VIDEL INSIDE at 800x600 (592) 256C on my CT63 Falcon before I got my CTPCI/Radeon.
IIRC I had NVDI 5 as well.

Re: [SOLD]: CT60 + 512MB RAM + Pico psu (on ebay)

Is the buyer a 'scener'? I can't tell, and name must stay hidden too, sorry. Now you have the money, you can always ask him. Like "Mate, do you realise there's a new batch of CT60e coming for 1/10 of the price you've just paid?" ;-) swell.... then that's one expensive 512MB ram and Pico.

You still need to find some space for it in the machine, but I'm open to suggestions

That what the CTPCI does... have couple of IDE 80-pin cables, bringing it outside the box.

And for it to fit it'll have to be this mother board model : http://www.atari-wiki.com/index.php/File:ST_Motherboard_C070789_Rev_B_520STFM_Dio.jpg This is looks like the model of STFM motherboard that I have. Re: 68020 booster

If it goes 32 MHz, then it will be like the TT, so the extra peripherals will be great to have... extra memory, IDE & network comes to mind.
You can run Mint properly on it then.
But I only have a 520STFM... so chances of theses are less in such small space.
