Re: Wiki dead?

It's not a mirror if it contents are updated.... it becomes more up to date than what's it mirrors.

I dunno....

May be a temp empty wiki for the new content that will need to be added back to the original wiki when ( when, if or whatever) it get corrected and back online.

Re: Atari TT030 and system V

I think the very first time I ran X11 was on my Mega STe, in all it's glory I didn't have enough memory to do much more than get the X on the screen. I actually think that was one of the driving factors of me getting a TT030, but I didn't do that until a few years later, and never got around to act...

X11 on Mint is nothing new, I had it installed on Mint many years ago on my falcon. It is not a difficult thing to install. If you want to try...

Re: Wiki dead?

If this is true, I don't see a too bright future for github anymore. Microsoft has a tendency to turn anything they touch into unusable crap sooner or later. Should be rather called "Midas-Soft". It is true. MS bought GitHub for over 7 billions dollars making the 3 founders billionaire. I...

Re: MiNT Network Drivers (SCSI/Link)

The source code for the Dynaport XIF can be found on the Freemint Github. https://github.com/freemint/freemint/tree/master/sys/sockets/xif/daynaport The SCSI commands are documented at anodyne website, so they are pretty generic but Farallon may have different initialising code? You can try to conta...

How did you clean it up? What software/tool did you used ?

Re: Wall-Mounting a Falcon

Wow very nice.
Where can I get those wooden branch looking computer brackets?
I guess some hot glue is needed to fix the Falc to the branch, I don't think there's any screw holes at that angle on the case.

Re: File that can not be deleted or renamed.

Kobold was able to delete funny entries in the FAT, normally written by fat32 on Fat16 format. But it does not wipe or zero out the partition. It deletes the file by marking it as delete on the FAT. Hddriver can wipe the partition by INIT function. If you use Big DOS, I think you can connect your HD...
