He says this but he hasn't been getting nowhere fast these last few nights like I have! ;D In an ideal world it ...

Re: Trying to find the name of an adventure game

I can remember a time when playing a text adventure was, believe it or not, quite a social activity with one player (usually the fastest typist) at the keyboard and a few mates all trying to brainstorm their way past whatever the current problem was. That went all the way back to 'The Count' on the...

Re: 720k Floppies with Windows 10 and a USB Floppy drive.

I use a USB floppy on Win10 to copy FILES to 720k disks, and it works fine. Format the disk on the Atari, put it in the USB drive on your PC, copy files using Windows Explorer. Put the disk back in the ST. It works. HOWEVER you can't use it to write ST disk images, as 99% of ST disk images are unusu...

do you have a USB floppy drive ? the image is just files, that'll fit on a 720k disk, no special format needed. copy them to a folder on your PC/etc using Steem, then copy them to a disk using your OS if not, PM me ypur address and I'll chuck it on a floppy disk, i might not be able to post it till ...

keyboards are interchangeable, so no issues there.

the drive light always on, is usually only because you booted without a disk in the drive. Does the light stay on even if you're running a game / application ?
