Then Hatari would be automatically started when you click on a *.st(.gz) file on your desktop. I expect the USB drive ...

Re: Hatari 1.8, Windows, how to change drive letter in file selector

Use the command mklink in an elevated command prompt (i.e. run the ciommand prompt as administrator) use /D for directory I was thinking of directory junctions (command switch "/J") because these don't require administrative privileges to create. Didn't know about that switch - works fine...

Well crap. Now I find out that this has already been done. More than 10 years ago even. http://d-bug.mooo.com/dbugforums/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1229809442 Well that's a blow. Bit disheartening :/ . I guess I had some fun doing it? And I can do other menus instead, perhaps? We'll see but I guess ...

I tried this as I also thought it would work, but the file selector just sees the shortcut as .lnk file :/

If you can hear the keyclick, then its probably the Shifter chip, as the ROMs and RAM are needed to get as far as running TOS. But pics of the screen corruption may help.

Thanks everyone! Helpful. mine (a Stacy4) doesn't have any pads on the handle, or anywhere that looks like there should be some, so I don't think there were any fitted from new.
sorry about the 1200 in the background :) I'm sorting out some stuff to sell and that happens to be next on my list to test.

I don't know if it's actually for sale. I jumped back in the atari world a short time ago, and actually had no idea that NVDI existed before buying my Falcon haha. This is where I found it : http://www.nvdi.de/gb/NVDI5.html but as I said, I didn't try to actually proceed to buying it because I foun...

Re: UltraSatan - System Clock Set

In case it's not clear, just -setting- the UltraSatan does NOT set the Atari clock automatically, you need to read the time from the UltraSatan using setclock in order to change the internal clock on the ST. easy test boot the ST, create a folder - it should have whatever default date your TOS versi...

how many periods are there in the first part of the email you were trying to use ? we have anti spam stuff setup to preven the usual email tricks, but firstname.lastname@whatever.com is perfectly valid. That's not how phpbb antispam works. incorrect. We have wildcards setup to match email addresses and disallow common spam formats. Then why don't you setup that said feature? At least more reliable than arbitrary wildcards? re-reading my post, it wasn't clear. We have the stopforumspam database AND...

I had exactly the same problem, and I finally figured out why -- the registration form wrongly rejects any email address containing periods before the at-sign (@). I tried to register using both of my usual outlook.com and gmail.com addresses (which share the same part before the at-sign), and it w...
